Under Pressure

Pressure
Building...
Building...
In my head.

Pain,
Spots,
Waves,
Spinning
In my head.

Can't Remember
Confused
Why
Where

My Brain
Under Pressure..

(I found out I have Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertention.  This means I have unexplained high cerebrospinal fluid pressure in my head surrounding my brain.  The symptoms often mimic those of a brain tumor.  I'm on medication right now, but it isn't working as hoped. They may change my medication soon.  I will have another Lumbar Puncture soon.  I may have to have a shunt put in to reduce the pressure.)

All this is pretty scary.
and it is affecting my vision in an awful way.
I'm not sure how much art I will be able to do, but I will find a way to do something.
Soon.

Until then,
I hope you enjoy my rambling.

  1. All that makes it a little difficult to be making art. I hope they can fix this soon. You've been going through so much lately. In my thoughts and prayers! *love and hugs*

  2. Sorry to read of these health issues. I'm currently trying to find out why I'm having headaches just about every day, and one of the possibilities is low CSF. You have a great blog and I've put it on the sidebar of my blog. Thanks for all you do... in spite of how you feel!

    1. Sherril,
      thank you.
I feel horrible I haven't been here more often. I have been under a bit of strain since the new diagnosis.
They originally diagnosed me with low CSF. But found out I'm a VERY rare case and kept blowing leaks in my spinal column...long story...

I hope they can get your headaches down and leveled out. I'm better on this end...but not as good as I'd like. We're working on it. : )

      good luck to you!
I'll be back here soon I hope.
